And to make things worse, trying to gather mobility equipment through the NHS or other services can take far too long to arrange - time that some people sadly do not have. We can help with this gap. Keep reading to discover our urgent emergency mobility hire services. ## **What will I need?** Your hospital should inform you of the equipment you or your loved one will need for their discharge, but the most common aids are: • Profiling/hospital beds • Wheelchairs • Walking aids • Rise and recliners • Hoists We offer all of this equipment on hire, so if your hospital is struggling to resource anything, we have got you. ## **Same-day or next-day hire** In most cases, we can get mobility equipment out to you either the same day or the next day. Some of the most important hires we do are for families who want a relative to be at home rather than in hospital - including at the end of life. Being at home matters enormously, especially if the time left with a loved one is short. When that's the case, we treat it as a priority and get the equipment out as quickly as we possibly can. We will help you the best we can. ## **About our hire** Every mobility equipment hire from Solent Mobility Centre includes delivery, setup in your home, and training so that anyone using or operating the equipment knows how to do it safely. We also include servicing and maintenance, plus 24/7 engineer support in case you run into any issues. The only additional charge is delivery and collection, which we'll calculate when you contact us - no hidden surprises. ## **Hire while you wait** The majority of our urgent hires are short bridges, covering the gap until the NHS or alternative service equipment arrives. You can hire our equipment from as little as a day, or for as long as you need. If the wait turns out to be longer than expected, we can usually extend the hire of your aids; just let us know as early as possible. ## **How do I arrange it?** Give us a call on 02392 009999 and tell us what's happening. We'll ask you a few questions and work out the best solution for you or your loved one. We'll confirm the cost, including delivery, before anything is booked.
