This 12V 22Ah AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery uses sealed, maintenance-free VRLA (valve-regulated lead acid) technology, designed to deliver consistent, reliable power for mobility scooters, powerchairs and other low-draw mobility devices. It offers a slight capacity step up from the 20Ah option, suiting similar mid-range pavement scooters and powerchairs.

Superior glass mat separators maintain consistent contact with the battery plates, while purified lead supports dependable performance in both cyclic use (regularly charged and discharged, as with a scooter) and standby use (such as a stairlift, left charged and ready). The battery is valve-regulated, allowing it to vent safely if needed, and is quality-controlled to ISO 9001 standards throughout manufacture, measuring 181×77×167mm.
