GP12-55 – 12V 55Ah AGM Battery

This 12V 55Ah AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery uses sealed, maintenance-free VRLA (valve-regulated lead acid) technology, designed to deliver consistent, reliable power for mobility scooters, powerchairs and other low-draw mobility devices. It's well suited to heavy-duty, large class 3 scooters and long-range powerchairs.

Superior glass mat separators maintain consistent contact with the battery plates, while purified lead supports dependable performance in both cyclic use (regularly charged and discharged, as with a scooter) and standby use (such as a stairlift, left charged and ready). The battery is valve-regulated, allowing it to vent safely if needed, and is quality-controlled to ISO 9001 standards throughout manufacture, measuring 229×138×208mm.

As with most 12V AGM batteries used in mobility scooters and powerchairs, you'll typically need two of these wired in series to create the 24V system most mobility devices run on, so this battery is usually purchased as a matched pair.
