The Molift Universal Sling is a general-purpose sling designed for use with Molift ceiling hoists and most other loop-bar ceiling hoists, offering a versatile, reliable option for everyday transfers.
Available in multiple sizes (S/M/L/XL) in polyester or mesh fabric, it uses loop-fixing attachments and is machine washable at 60°C. Good head control is required by the user, as this sling does not provide head support.
Slings must be inspected before every use, assigned to a named individual user (never shared between patients), and replaced when worn or damaged. Sling type and size must be selected following an occupational therapist assessment.

Yes. Slings are lifting accessories under LOLER 1998, and must be included in your formal hoist examination schedule — every 6 months in workplace/care home settings, or at least annually in domestic settings.

Yes. Sling type, size and attachment style must be selected following an occupational therapist assessment of the individual user, their transfer needs and the specific hoist being used.
