The Signature Bariatric is designed for larger users who need a profiling bed with a higher weight capacity, without giving up a warm, wooden bedroom look. It supports a user of up to 265kg on a 120cm wide platform.
The electric backrest and leg rest help with sitting up and resting, and the height range from 24.5cm to 73cm helps with getting in and out and with care. Optional side rails can be added, and a 9V battery is fitted for emergency use.

No, the mattress is chosen separately. Opera lists the Serene Profiling, Ultimate Profiling, Flo Air, Eclipse Air, Impulse Hybrid and Memory Adjustable Comfort mattresses as suitable for use with side rails.
