The Solo Comfort Plus brings together a very low floor-bed height, side rails and an in-bed chair position in one upholstered bed. It suits people with higher care needs who still want a homely bedroom, and the wider sizes support users up to 215kg.
Rails can be raised fully or partly depending on the need, while the low height adds reassurance overnight. The chair position, auto-regression backrest and backlit handset make daily routines more comfortable for the user and easier for carers.

Opera lists the Serene Profiling, Ultimate Profiling, Flo Air, Eclipse Air, Impulse Hybrid and Memory Adjustable Comfort mattresses as suitable for use with side rails. Mattresses up to 203mm (8 inches) deep can be used.
Are the fabrics wipe-clean?
Opera notes that the fabric options are wool and are not fluid-resistant or waterproof, so a leatherette may be the better choice where easy cleaning is important.
