If you have a bend or corner on your staircase then you will require a curved stairlift.
Yes, most mobility shops will only refer you to national companies like Acorn or Stannah. Our stairlifts are fitted by our own fully trained engineers and we have the experience to provide full aftercare, servicing and a quick response to any breakdown or repairs with a 24 hour emergency phone line given to all our stairlift customers.
Solent Mobility offers a free full site survey and will explain all the options available and what we feel is most suitable to meet your needs.
You may need a stairlift fitted with a perch seat, the free full site survey will pick out any key requirements and we will ensure your specifications are met.
As standard we give 2 years warranty with an extended 4 year warranty available if required.
Normally we hold straight stairlifts in stock and they can be fitted within 24 hours of placing the order. A curved stairlift will take 3-5 weeks as it has to be made specifically to fit your staircase.
Annually, we send our service reminders to all our stairlift clients so that a service date can be booked with our fully trained engineers at your convenience.
We offer a rental service on straight stairlifts for long or short term periods at a reasonable rate including installation and de-installation. Curved stairlifts are not available to rent currently as they have to be custom built for each staircase.
Yes, we are happy to carry out the site survey in conjunction with an Occupational Therapist or other representative on your behalf.
