Last week, we attended the 24 Hour Bowlathon at Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club. The club was hosting a fundraising event in support of Sophie's Legacy. In today's blog, you can read all about the event and how it was a huge success!

Starting on the 31st January 2025, President Debbie Watts and her husband, Mick Watts, began their 24 hour bowlathon at Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club. Their goal was to bowl for 24 hours straight with or against other teams to raise money for Sophie's Legacy. The duo played against many teams, including us! And they managed to stay awake, bowling throughout the whole night into the morning of February 1st 2025.

There was plenty of support, yummy cakes and a lively atmosphere at the club. All donations on cakes, quilts and games were given to Sophie's Legacy, funding their endless support for children and families affected by childhood cancer or other medical conditions. In total, they raised around £2,600 for the charity!
