Solent Mobility Centre
Privacy Policy
Effective from 25 May 2018. Last reviewed 9 July 2026 to reflect our current use of website analytics, live chat and spam-protection tools.
This policy explains how Solent Mobility Centre uses and protects any information that you provide when using this website.
Solent Mobility Centre is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We design our website and systems to collect as little personal data as possible and to avoid invasive tracking technologies wherever we can. We do not collect or process any data classified as sensitive under GDPR.
Information We Collect
We do not collect or store personally identifiable information through this website unless you voluntarily provide it to us — for example, by contacting us directly via our contact form, email or phone, or by starting a live chat conversation.
The information you may choose to provide can include:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address or postcode (if provided during an enquiry)
Website Analytics (No Cookies)
We use Simple Analytics to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve content, usability, and performance.
Simple Analytics does not use cookies, does not store personal data, does not track users across websites, does not collect IP addresses, and is fully GDPR, PECR, and CCPA compliant.
The data collected is anonymous and aggregated, such as pages visited, device type, and country-level location (not precise location). This data cannot be used to identify you.
Live Chat (Crisp)
We use Crisp, a third-party live chat provider, so you can speak with our team directly from the website. When the chat widget loads, Crisp sets cookies to keep track of your chat session so your conversation isn't lost if you move between pages.
If you use live chat, any information you choose to share in the conversation (for example your name, email address, or the details of your enquiry) is processed by Crisp on our behalf, in line with Crisp's own privacy policy. Crisp is based in the EU; where any data is processed outside the UK or EU, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.
Spam & Fraud Prevention (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Our contact and enquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help confirm that you are a real person and to prevent spam and automated abuse. Turnstile may use cookies or similar technologies, and processes limited technical data (such as your browser and device signals) to perform this check. This is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. and is used only for security purposes, never for advertising or tracking.
How We Use Information You Provide
If you choose to contact us directly, we may use your information to respond to enquiries, provide requested services or information, and maintain internal records related to your enquiry.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that any information you provide is secure. We use appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and protect any personal data we hold.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and our Simple Analytics usage statistics are collected entirely without cookies.
Two third-party tools described above do use cookies or similar technologies for the specific purposes explained: our Crisp live chat widget (to maintain your chat session) and Cloudflare Turnstile (to confirm you are not a bot on our contact forms). Neither is used to track you across other websites or to build an advertising profile.
Transfers Outside the UK or EU
We do not routinely transfer personal data outside the UK or EU ourselves. Some of the third-party tools we use — such as Cloudflare, which provides our spam-protection and hosting security services — may process data outside the UK or EU as part of their global infrastructure. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism) are in place to keep your data protected in line with GDPR.
Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.
