You can't put a hoist in the boot of your car, and you probably don't want to dismantle your mobility scooter at a service station either.
So let us handle the mobility packing!
When you hire mobility equipment locally, you avoid the stress that can make a holiday feel like more trouble than it's worth. All you need to do is arrive, and everything you need will be ready.
What we offer
We deliver hire mobility equipment across Hampshire to holiday parks and self-catering cottages, adapted accommodations, and family homes.
For holiday accommodations, we will aim to deliver your equipment between 11am and 2pm. That way, it'll be set up and ready for you so you're not left waiting around during the first day of your holiday.
We're regular visitors to Wallops Wood near Droxford, an adapted holiday site that welcomes disabled guests. We are there most weeks, dropping off and collecting hire equipment for their holiday-goers.
If you're staying somewhere similar, the chances are we already know the site.
You can hire:
• Mobility Scooters
• Wheelchairs
• Powerchairs
• Hoists
• Ramps
• Riser Recliners
• Walking Aids & More
If there's something niche and unusual you need, just ask. We can often source items specifically for hire.
How to book
Our hire periods start at a single day and run up to a month, with no minimum tie-in - so a long weekend is a perfectly ordinary booking.
When you get in touch, we'll ask you a few practical questions: height and weight, so we get the size and fit right, and anything specific about how you'll be using it. We'll also need the address of your accommodation and a contact number.
The easiest way to book is a quick phone call. We'll go through the hire sheet with you, so you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before anything is confirmed.
Once you've chosen your equipment, we'll agree on a delivery time with you - then you can just relax.
What it costs
Pricing for your hire equipment is based on the length of the hire, from daily up to monthly, and it's agreed with you upfront.
The only additional charge is delivery and collection, calculated by area from Lee-on-the-Solent, which covers us bringing and collecting your equipment.
Set-up, training on how to use and charge your equipment, and all servicing are included.
If something goes wrong, don't panic!
If you're experiencing issues with your mobility equipment, call us straight away.
During our shop hours, you can call us at 02392 009999. If you need help outside these hours, we'll give you a number that goes straight through to an engineer on call - evenings and weekends included.
We'll come out and try to resolve your issues, and if we can't, we'll replace your equipment as quickly as we can so your holiday carries on.
If you're somewhere that we cannot reach, such as a cruise or a holiday abroad, we'll do our best to talk you through it over the phone.
Extending your stay
Holiday plans change all the time. If yours change and you want to keep your equipment for longer, let us know as early as possible.
The equipment may already be booked for someone else after your slot. We'll try to find a solution, but the sooner we know, the better the odds.
Collection
At the end of your holiday hire, we'll come and collect your equipment at a time pre-arranged with you. If you picked up the equipment from our shop yourself, you can simply drop it back.
