Last week, we visited Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club to take part in their 24 Hour Charity Bowlathon! The club was hosting a fundraising event in support of Sophie's Legacy.

In this blog, you can read all about the event and how it was a huge success!

Starting on January 31st, 2025, President Debbie Watts and her husband, Mick Watts, began their 24-hour bowlathon at Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club in Fareham, Hampshire. Their goal was to bowl for 24 hours straight with or against other teams to raise money for Sophie's Legacy.

The duo played against many teams, including us! And they managed to stay awake for the entire 24 hours, bowling throughout the whole night and into the morning of February 1st, 2025.

There was plenty of support, yummy cakes, and a lively atmosphere at the club. All donations on cakes, quilts, and games were given to Sophie's Legacy, funding their endless support for children and families affected by childhood cancer or other medical conditions.

In total, they raised around £2,600 for the charity! Well done, Debbie and Mick.

We also took plenty of pics of the day, check them out here:
