The seat slopes slightly downwards from back to front, helping to make lowering and raising more comfortable, while a deep splash guard helps minimise soiling. A large rear cut-out gives extra clearance, and a wide front cut-out supports easier personal cleansing. Unlike the lower 5cm and 10cm versions, the 15cm seat also includes an additional front bracket with its own turning knob, giving extra stability at this greater height.
Three L-shaped moulded plastic brackets, fitted with bonded rubber non-slip buffers, keep the seat firmly in place once fitted, and adjust easily using large, fluted turning knobs to suit most toilet sizes and shapes. Fitting and removal is quick and tool-free, and the seat's fully sealed, plastic construction resists stains and odours, making it simple to keep clean. The seat supports a maximum user weight of 190kg (30 stone).
